Italian Students Left for a month of Traineeship in Germany with EU-DualS
At the start of September, eleven students from the Italian technical high-school institute Andre Ponti have left for Germany to join their traineeship with companies in Berlin as part of the EU-DualS project. They will be hosted by local families and will join in working activities of companies related to their fields of study, such as electronics and mechanics. This experience will work both as a first introduction to the professional world and a way for them to put in practice the many theoretical principles they have learned in their school years.
This visit is part of the broader idea behind the EU-DualS project that a European Dual System on the line of the German one can provide unique opportunities to students, companies and professional schools alike. It is a perfect way to introduce young people to a profession as well as making sure the needs of companies are matched by the availability of a skilled young workforce. We wish the best to the students who left and we look forward to hear about their experience in Berlin!
